An announcement from the weather
The weather report for the next 36 hours has been issued by the Department of Meteorology.
The announcement states that in Ampara, Thrikkunamalay, Mulayativ, Kilinochchi and Vavuniya districts, there may be some rain or thundershowers in some places after 2 pm.
It also says that there may be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
For the rest of the island, there is a mainly rain-free weather situation.
