This is an interview with Anu Nikki, the model who won the best catwalk title among all the contestants in the Ceylon Majestic Pageant, where a large number of contestants participated.

Anu, how are you these days?

I am doing well.

I heard that you recently won a big victory... What exactly was that victory?

Yes... I joined the Ceylon Majestic Pageant 2017 International Pageant. The finale was on March 17. I won the Best Catwalk title. I am very happy about that. I would like to thank Vishwa Aiya, Arjuna Aiya and Nilu Akka in particular.

How is your contribution to modeling?

It is going well. Here's how... I am fully focused on modeling. So I spend a lot of time on modeling.

How is acting?

I do it as I have time. I have already said that I am modeling full-time. So the problem is time to focus on acting. However, I have contributed to songwriting, TV commercials, and acting. In addition, I hope to contribute to good opportunities that come my way.

How is the support I receive for all this?

I get a lot of support from my family. I am really happy about that.

Have you been accused of wearing shorts?

Here's how... Why aren't you accusing me today? There are many people who accuse me of wearing shorts. But those who accuse me do so without proper understanding of fashion. It's like they are just accusing the trend.

So, as far as I see it, wearing shorts is not wrong. That's why I do fashion in a way that suits me.

Is there a rule that says a model should wear shorts?

There is no such rule... If it suits your figure, there is nothing wrong with wearing it. That is to say, I don't see anything wrong with wearing shorts after we control our bodies well, go to the gym, and build our bodies. Because it looks very beautiful when worn like that. Otherwise, if someone who doesn't maintain their figure in any way wears shorts, then there's no need to say anything else.

Some people say that they wear shorts to show off their body to become popular... Do you think so too?

You can't become popular by wearing shorts without talent.
