Today, we are joining Sirasa Gossip with Samadhi Wandana, a new star who is making her mark in the modeling industry as well as the acting industry. This is Sirasa Gossip's discussion with her.

Shall we start by telling you a little about yourself? Name, age and hobbies.

My name is Samadhi Wandana Kumarika Kothalawala. I am currently 21 years old. I live in Avissawella. My hobbies are listening to songs, writing articles, photography, etc.

Did you have a dream to join the modeling industry since childhood?

I had no desire to join the modeling industry when I was young. But I had a great desire to become an actress, since childhood. I only recently developed a desire to join the modeling industry.

If I mention those who help and have helped...

My brother Gitendra Liyanage helped me a lot to move forward as a model. I also want to mention Roshan Jayakodyarachchi in particular.

What are your limitations when modeling?

In modeling, I only do what I think is right for me. There are no special limitations. If I think it suits me, I do it.

What do you hope to do in the future?

I hope to do an external degree in Mass Communication at the University of Kelaniya. I also hope to contribute to music videos, teledramas, and films by acting. My hope is to help the art field to the best of my ability.

What can I say about modeling in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lankan modeling is at a high level. But there are few people who are interested in that field. I think if you do it the right way, you can go a long way in this field. But some people look at it in a very strange way when they say they are modeling. But modeling is something related to art.

Don't you like acting?

As I said earlier, I really like acting. Our family is very much involved with art. They are already in that field.

I have received many invitations to act so far. I have currently acted in a new film by Sripali Hettiarachchi. I hope to act in more films and teledramas in the future.

What do you think about the distance I have come...

I only recently came to this field. Looking back over the time I have come, I have made up for many shortcomings today. I am new to the field. I am happy that I have come a long way in that short time.

What is the thing I hate to see the most in these fields?

The thing I hate to see the most in the acting and modeling fields is that many people who hold the title of their status are unaware.

What do you think about love...?

Love is a wonderful thing... If we talk about love, there are many things to say. There is no age limit to love. Everyone needs what is called love. Love is beautiful.

Are you currently a lover? A lover?

Yes... I am a lover.

What do you think about social services that are being carried out by collecting money through social media?

Doing social services is good. It is good to serve people and the country in the way you can. But collecting money through social media has now become like a business. There are people who post photos on social media and gain fame from them. Serving the society is a good thing. But I do not like doing those activities through social media. Many people today use their fame to help social services for their own benefit. I do not like lying to earn money.

What is your opinion on politics?

I am not interested in politics. Therefore, I have no opinion on politics.
